Giant news, everyone

As we learned Overstock.com - over retail giant decided to introduction faster bitcoin payments. It happened this morning, faster than everyone supposed. According to the anoucement that the company made couple hours ago, there has been spent about 10,000$ worth of bitcoins. What is more, as from company we also know that the first item bought with bitcoins was a  patio set. Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne said that around 150 bitcoin-based orders were received in the first 90 minutes. When it comes to me, I can only admit that they have a great managament, which decided to enter bitcoins payments. What`s a move?! And why it happened so fast? Here is the answer, about two - three weeks ago Byrne said that they`re going to make bitcoins payments in June or July, but know as he said he was afraid that someone else beat them, and do it first.
One is sure. It was a great move for this company, and our bitcoin society.

Allegro Ban Bitcoins

Allegro Polish equivalent of eBay, leader in internet sales, decided to made a change in its regulations. According to the decision from yesterday since the date of 15 January 2014 there won`t be any transactions based on cryptocurrencies.

"The ban also includes cryptocurrencies (eg. bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin, etc.) and services and related products; ".
As you can see we won`t be able to pay in bitcoins and sell our cryptocurrencies on Allegro anymore.

Small correction - Coinye West

As you remember, I wrote you sth about new coin - Coinye West. That time it wasn`t true for sure. Now I`ve got correction for all of you. Rapper who turned out to be a great bussinessman - Kanye West asked his lawyers to take legal action againts the creators of Coinye West. They have already filed documents at court. As for them author of Coinye West is claiming a trademark infringement.

What now? Is it a good news for all of us? Does it mean that bitcoin will be the only serious cryptocurrency? Or maybe thanks to Kanye West and his lawyers all of the cryptocurrencies become more popular?

Moment ago we got information that one of the auto services in Warsaw - TI Expert not only thought but also decide to enter bitcoin payments. It's first known auto service in Poland which is going to accept bitcoin! Congrats. For those who knows Polish, more information can be found here.

According to the tweet of @maxkeiser we must admit that we`re truly amazed. In this short message, Max Keiser says that Netflix is thinking about accepting bitcoin for their services. With no sure, and no proof he shaked with the world of bitcoin owners. What`s going to be next? Will the bitcoin payment change the world markets? 

Breaking news

Zynga, which is a social game developer, well known thanks to facebook is going to test in-game purchases using bitcoin!
Representatives of Zynga said that they`re partnering with bitcoin payment processor BitPay to make it all work. If it works, we will have great news, which probably make price of bitcoin increases.

The test is said to only be available to users playing the following Zynga games: FarmVille 2, CastleVille, ChefVille, CoasterVille, Hidden Chronicles, Hidden Shadows and CityVille.
